Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Our team is a vibrant reflection of global diversity, with members representing 15 different countries and speaking over 30 languages. We proudly embrace a wide range of identities, including LGBTQ+ individuals and people from various minority backgrounds. This diversity is not only a core strength of our organization but also enriches our perspective, and improves our ability to connect with, and serve a diverse clientele.
We define diversity as the full spectrum of ways in which people identify. This includes both social identity factors—such as age, caregiving responsibilities, cultural background, disability status, gender, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, intersex status, and socio-economic background—as well as professional identity factors, such as work history, education and work experience. Each persons unique combination of these aspects shapes their perspective and interactions in the workplace, influencing how they view others and are perceived in turn.
By embracing and celebrating our diversity, we cultivate an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work each day.
At Star Property Management, we’re all about creating a diverse and inclusive work environment because we know that teams are stronger when people bring different perspectives and experiences to the table.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, older individuals, and anyone from underrepresented groups.
We don’t tolerate discrimination of any kind—whether based on race, gender, religion, color, place of birth, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability status. Everyone at Star Property Management is responsible for maintaining a positive, respectful workplace where kindness and respect is the norm, and where everyone is valued, heard and included.
